  • What to do when you can’t afford a vacation

    Filed Under:

A vacation in these stressful times, has become a necessity rather than a luxury. But what if you can’t afford one in this recessing situation? These are the tips you can try.

You can find yourself in a totally different environment if you just take a couple of hours drive. It can prove to be the same relaxing experience as in a week’s vacation. Biking, hikes on nearby trails and day trips to the beach can help you relax as well.

Unless you take out a calendar and plan for one, vacations are tough to happen. Take a break during non peak travel times. Go to a destination which is not the typical touristy place. Lot of airlines fly cheaper to their hubs. Look out for these specials.

Mix business and pleasure
Take time out during business trips and extract your own mini vacations.

Tapping online networks and connecting with like minded people can give you a relaxing experience and help planning and choosing for your vacations.
